Job Opportunity - Business Development and Recruitment Manager ( Arlington, Virginia) The development consulting firm I am working at now, J.E. Austin Associates, is in need of a Business Development and Recruitment Manager.  J.E. Austin is a leader in working with economic clusters and value chains, and has worked in 110 countries completing over 500 projects since its founding in 1986.As the Business Development Manager, you would be the face of the company at industry events, as well as building relationships with other consulting firms that we might partner with on projects.  In time you would also help provide input on which firms we should consider bidding with on upcoming projects.As the Recruitment Manager, you would fill a key role by finding experts with skills ranging from competitiveness to vocational training to industry specialists for projects throughout the globe.In both of these roles you would have an overview of all the firm's operations and be exposed to the firm's methodology, as you would have the opportunity to learn about what the firm does as you learn what types of projects are coming up and what kind of staff you need to find.  As well, although this role is heavier on the recruiting side, J.E. Austin has a very dynamic work environment in which opportunities can arise to assist in tasks like project management or eventually technical work on projects.For this role it is necessary that someone have an outgoing personality, and ideally a strong interest in international development.  Experience working in recruitment or sales would also be a strong plus.Please contact me directly to apply or ask any questions you may have.We are looking to fill this role as soon as possible.
